PAPILLION LAVISTA MONARCH INVITATIONAL - VARSITY TOURNAMENT - APRIL 23 & 24

Papillion LaVista High School has a vacancy in its annual six-team varsity invitational tournament, April 23-24.  Participants will play three games.  Since Elkhorn South has already committed to play in this tournament in 2011 and beyond, the vacancy to be filled is for 2010 only.  It is possible that the tournament could expand to an eight-team format if there is sufficient interest, in which case, the team filling the 2010 vacancy would become part of the multi-year event.  The other teams in the tournament are:  Papio, Papio South, Westside, Lincoln Southeast and Bryan.

If interested, please contact PLHS Activities Director Chuck Johnston.

FCSL HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL

We at the Florida Collegiate Summer League (www.FloridaLeague.com) would like to invite you to our 2010 High School Invitational. We are holding three Invitational Baseball Tournaments for spring break 2010, March 21 26, March 28 April 2, and April 4 9.

Entering our 7th season, the Florida Collegiate Summer League is home to some of the top college baseball players in the nation. In just 6 seasons, 111 players have been drafted out of our league. With players from 200+ colleges across the nation, we also have the relationships to bring recruiters from these schools to our tournaments.

The 2010 Florida League High School Invitational is designed for high school baseball teams looking for 4 games of quality baseball in a competitive environment. We get the word out to all of our contacts with college coaches and professional scouts to ensure ample exposure for your players.

With Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium as home base, teams from outside the area have excellent resources available for their spring break stay - hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Disney, Universal, beaches). See attached flyer for more information on the tournament.
